The Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg
-a beautiful country to visit, a great place for business-

Vianden Castle in Luxembourg From the vineyards of the Moselle Valley, around the city's fortress to the Ardennes Mountains there lies a community known to few. The tale of Luxembourg begins in 963 when a certain Count called Siegfried traded some land for a fort. In medieval times, Luxembourgs' strategic position in the heart of today's Europe ensured that the city grew to one of the strongest fortresses on the European continent.
What was true at the time, still holds today!

City of Luxembourg The strategic position remained; only the strategy shifted. The mighty fortress opened its gates long before becoming a founding member of the European Union.
Luxembourg learned to welcome diversity. Today fellow citizens from many nations share their culture, knowledge and skills to make Luxembourg one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. A universal city with a balanced atmosphere and a lot of charme.

Central Bank Luxembourg Luxembourg has always been able to make the necessary transitions and blend old values with new wisdom. The virtue of Luxembourg is to be small, but to be respected. To keep its traditions, but not to rely on them. To have a unique national culture, but one shaped by many.
